Our fat lady has sung and our very first video competition is now over. The first placed participant, Emperor Of All Digital Video, will receive an archive set of the latest versions of Waves 1, 2 & 3, hot off the press from our latest print run. We've had our in-house popcorn popping judging session and put together a list of our favourite runner up videos, all of whom we'll be showering with trinkets of our utmost appreciation. So, let's roll out the red carpet and announce the winners!

FIRST PLACE

We laughed, we guffawed, we let our mouths hang open in shocked appreciation at the most authentic English accent since Dick Van Dyke's appearance in Mary Poppins. Congratulations to UKver2, whose Perplex City, Meet South Park video racked up an astounding 43,067 views by the time our competition closed. Featuring a great appearance by our very own Adrian Hon as well as a cameo by Oliver Keers, UKver2 gets to take home the first prize of an archive set of the latest versions of Waves 1, 2 & 3, hot off the press from our latest print run.

In terms of winning categories, how did Perplex City, Meet South Park do?

  • Best Fight Scene
  • Best Death Scene
  • Best English Accent
  • Best definition of "Alternative Reality Game"
  • Most likely player to have points deducted by Adrian Hon

SECOND PLACE

It's got pirates, it's got ninjas and it's even got Oliver Keers in it. Pirates Vs. Ninjas, perhaps through its innovative usage of "scared Ninja", managed to squeeze out 30,327 views by the time our competition closed.

Stunning us by its innovative use of deafening morse code, Tiggz's entry, Perplexcity Competition totalled 24,711 views by the time we hit the big red button and stopped counting.

Perplexcity Competition didn't read from an autocue when it accepted these awards:
