Finally got this one solved. 
I have to admit that the final answer was a lot neater than I had expected, but it was still rather annoying to realize that I'd been very close for a long time - and I expect there's quite a few others in the same boat! One little point about this card that hasn't been mentioned so far: the mistake on it by which one cow is identified as both "Tom Moos" and "Rosy". For the record: Spoiler: (highlight to read) Rosy is to the right of Tom BTW, am I the only one who's wondering why so many of these dairy cows have male names?

I am still stuck on this one. 
Spoiler: (highlight to read) I know I'm supposed to "connect the cows", but I can't get anything other than the "X" in the middle. Maybe the lower one is 141? |

I really like the cards with an elegant (and obvious, with hindsight,) solution. |
