how about a more difficult weekly puzzle that takes longer to complete as well as a daily puzzle

I like the sound of that, it could be put up on weekends when there is no daily puzzle.

Regarding the new PXC front page;

Jezza wrote:

The grey front page appears to have no links to community or this forum except via the link saying 'solve your cards'. Is it intentional to split the two sites so completely? Surely if solving the Arg, one wants direct links to this forum.

I'm also suprised that there is no link to the PXC forums under the community heading like there is to the Wiki, Perplexorum and Unfiction. Instead it is a three clicks journey using the route Jezza mentioned.

I'd also love a weekly puzzle in addition to the daily puzzles, if it was worth 100 points plus.

Here's a suggestion that's meant to help Mind Candy: Put a few free cards on the site, like the old Season 1 site had, to spur interest. I got sucked into the game by solving the two free cards.

How about 3 or 4 free cards? Or perhaps one of each color? Maybe there can be a free set of eight cards (they'll have fronts and backs, just like regular cards, but you can explore both 'sides' on the site, and they are given away at events) that don't duplicate the cards in the packs but do give you points.

Group bonuses back please!

It was a great sense of achievement in season one to complete the final card in a set of four and get the bonus points for them all. It adds to the collectability, and gives a little extra buzz every so often when getting a card solve (at the moment it's just: solve card, get a green Correct. Go to profile and see points tally rise a bit and place in leaderboard. But no leaderboard, and no other excitement).

I'm still enjoying solving the cards greatly, but I'm really not enjoying going to the site and typing in the answers - there's not enough pleasant feedback at the moment.

Hopefully you'll get there soon: keep up the good work anyway!

Slow down on the whole PXC stories things. I for one along with others in my locations find it frustrating that we do not even get a chance to try them really because it seems by the next day the answer is posted and if we don't move on we will miss something. I know the PXC stories is a big thing but if you keep it up at such a fast pace you are going to lose a lot of people. Espcially because if someone where to start right now they would already be way behind to the point they may just not care and give up on participating.

That is a good point, I for one have already given up because of similar reasons. Not really much we can do; some people are just too eager and/or have far too much time on their hands.

The way to look at it is that the current stuff is a one-off 'primer' in a similar vein to Season 1. When PXC Stories kicks off proper next month, 're-playable episodes' screams to me 'go at your own pace'.

I know that some have suggested "edit/delete" options for creating your own puzzles, but how about also having a "preview puzzle" option before submitting. I thought I had uploaded a picture to my puzzle this month and did not realize the mistake until it was already added.

It would also be nice to be able change the puzzle difficulty color after creating it.

I agree with your suggestion brntmn. I would still like an edit/delete button though.

Not to be a cynic here but this suggestions thread seems to be falling on deaf ears. The only people who read these are us (the users) and it seems Mind Candy doesn't bother. A full leaderboard has been suggested quite a few times and was one of the earliest suggestions and it still hasn't been done. It seems the site has undergone very few changes in terms of suggestions.

We promise that your suggestions are being heard and taken into account. But you must realise that mind Candy have a lot to do at the moment, and maybe don't have the time to implement any of our non-essential suggestions.

Just give it some time

I definitely agree on that one even though it'd leave me twice as far behind. Lol. I'd also like to see as i've said elsewhere a 'my leaderboard' on the homepages- showing the people, say, 5 places ahead and behind.

check out http://www.perplexcitytrades.com/saintjimmy for my trades list. Desperately seeking series one atm. See my thread for the tragic tale. lol

Yeah, I don't know how many times something like that has been raised, but there is still no sign of it happening. It was certainly one of my favorite parts of the S1 site, and being able to page up/page down through pages of 20 puzzlers at a time.
