Thanks for the hints guys, I got there in the end once I knew which way to orientate the card. Still, I think I should have gotten this sooner on my own, but I just couldn't see anything! So thanks for the help!

I was so frustrated with myself for being so slow with this card that I entered in the answer as opposed to the 12 digit entry code to access the card's page itself.

It helped me to tilt the card almost to the point you cant see the card. Look at it from the top down

Sorry to the people that needed my help. My computer has been acting crazy so I couldn't get online without it shutting off on me.

I found that if I rotated the card 90 degrees and had the input code nearest to me and then angled the card so that the blue pattern that was origanaly at the bottom of the card, now furthest away from the eye the word just sprang to me.

I managed to see the answer by re-drawing the lines on a piece of paper but with them horizontally closer together (with the card at 90 degrees).

At last..............

This is just frustrating. I hate puzzles like this.

Spoiler: (highlight to read)

Life should not be the answer. There is nothing that says we should add an extra letter, and LFE in no way "represents" life. Neither do a series of broken red lines.

I hate puzzles that end like this. With a little more work (adding the I) it would have been just fine. It's just sloppy.

irwando: Look again, it's there. Remember that (total spoiler):

Spoiler: (highlight to read)

There is no red line on the "back" (left hand) side of a letter. So the I has only a single up-and-down line.

My aplogogies then, yes, it's there.

Sorry, just after several other "guess what the author was thinking" puzzles, it just gets frustrating. I hate puzzles like that.

For an age I couldn't see the answer. But I had an idea of the sort of thing I was looking for.

Spoiler: (highlight to read)

In the end, I took it to the window where there was a lot more light, and tilted the card almost to the point at which you can no longer see the front, and there is was, clear as day.
