the client is currently not working (afaict) I have been unable to collect any work units and have no details at present. Once I can tell you more I will let you know. Sorry for the inconvenience. | ||||

Hi all I have just got a little bit of info that may help regards non running clients. It would seem chimera is switching IP and has obviously got some things to resolve. I havent heard from chimera directly but I do know the config file can be altered and will work. However chimera has not posted so I am assuming that there is a reason for this and as soon as we know anything or if we can post the ammended details I will let you know.
Sorry its not a solution but I do know the client will still run and is in some cases. I just want to await a response from chimera before posting anything. |

Have had an update from Chimera and he will hopefully be posting the new details soon pending any problems. As mentioned its his ISP that had the blow up, rather than the client as they have a complete new range of IP addresses.
He hasn’t published this yet as he is not totally sure the ISP wont go do it again. If it stays another week he will announce the details and I will post an update to the site. |

Might have been a minor glitch earlier - I arrived to find my network processing nothing but it had only been for about an hour or so. I have just restarted a few and its collecting wus again.
I am about to post an updated file on the site for those that are needing one. [EDIT]Theres a config file on the site and the patch and download are now updated[/EDIT] |

An update from Chimera...
OK, the main 13L Server is now down and being rebuilt - or at least a replacement scratch server is being assembled from spare parts I have lying around and the 13L Server has gone to bigger/better things. So to clarify..13th labour server is down, but normal service will resume asap

I'm new to all of this and tried installing the client tonight.
I am running this on a Macbook under Mono, but I get the message "Congestion encountered adding Client, waiting for retry" when trying to submit my info. Is this because of the server being down or am I doing something wrong? |
