Hi,

I am new to The City and only learnt about this a few days before the original was solved. I nearly brought a whole load of cards from ***** in the UK which would have been a historic waste of money and there could have probably been a card about my stupidity!!!

Anyway, I have a few packs on the way now and was wondering that the people I was going to buy from do a 256 card wallet.

Are these cards the same size as the originals as I'd idealy loke somewhere to store them?

Thanks.

Season two cards are exactly the same size as S1 ones. You should have no problem fitting them in your card wallet. Hope this helps!

The S1 wallet is very good for protecting and displaying your cards but I was wondering about the rather attractive backs of the new S2 cards - I want a HUGE wallet that displays front and back please.

Season One silver cards I need:

I use a 6"x4" card index box.

It enables the cards to be removed easily for more detailed examination.

I found that the S1 256 card wallet seams became detached quite easily and because cards were inserted back-to-back had to be removed to examine the card backs.

Welcome to Perplex City, Lazarous !

The Season 1 folder is very good when it comes to protecting the cards and all, even though the seams do come off very easily. However as someone pointed earlier, Season 2 cards have an extra little something on their backs, a very nice "backstory" of Perplex City. So maybe you could wait a little, see if a specific folder will be released for S2 (anyone, info on that ?).

I think at this point, some sort of larger album would be approperiate, akin to the baseball card sheets except 4-up. This would allow front and back to be seen, and also allow us to group the cards in 4s (ignorance check: Is Season 2 grouped in 4s like Season 1 was?)

Lazarous, don't feel bad about buying Season 1 cards. Though the Cube has been found, the puzzles are still fantastic, you can still earn points and Leitmarks, and there are a lot of little elements that help bring you into Perplex City that much more. Sure, that money is probably better put towards Season 2 right now, but if you have some to spare, don't shun Season 1. (Especially since it's being discounted all over the place. )

Hi there,

In Season one I used two folders to display cards so that I could see the map pieces. It took a little time to organise them properly so that 4 pieces lined up...they ended up running back to front. Also by doing this I discovered that the map on the rear of Shuffled is aligned differently to the map on the rear of all the other cards (I wasn't the first to find this, and it appears this has nothing to do with the solution).

I have also placed season 2 cards in two folders and can tell you that the cards 'pair up' nicely.
It would be nice to have a purpose made s2 folder, but you'll find that this works perfectly well.

I can imagine that some sort of card folder will be released. I'm surprised no-one picked up on how strange it would be to put Season 2 cards into a folder with "Lost: The Cube" on the front .

I like Datango's idea of a card index box for easy access to cards - although you forgo the nice plastic protection. I use to find getting cards in and out of the card wallet really frustrating!! Anyway will wait and see if anyone is gonna produce a wallet system that will display front and back of the cards.

The cards appear to be approximately standard postcard-size, so postcard albums would do the trick. You can even get them in various elegant stylings, and with transparent 4-pocket pages, so you can see an entire 4-card set, front and back, in one page.

Arrowfile.com looks like a good place to start. I've ordered these:

Haven't received them yet, so I can't say how good they are or aren't, but they look to be a pretty good bet.

These remind me a lot of those albums Collectible Cards Games players use ! Not a bad idea. I tried pictures albums for my cards for S1, but the cards were just a tad too wide to fit :p Maybe I should have searched harder !

We used a photo album that holds 4X6 inch photos for our Season 1 cards. We'll have to get a new one for Season 2.

I'm using a pencil case temporarily, but if i get any more cards then it's going to be a tight squeeze to get them in without damaging them on the zip!
