remember that tv program Catchphrase?? 'Just say what you see'. I struggled with 2 as well, and you'll kick yourself if someone tells you...
Spoiler: (highlight to read) but if you really need a hand, try thinking of other ways of saying two eg couple, duo etc... just keep saying things out loud as somehow your brain will make the connection easier... good luck |

number two drove me nuts but as with many of the others I groaned with disgust when I finally got the answer.
not sure if the following counts as a spoiler but just in case Spoiler: (highlight to read) they are all classic books. to get number 2 I actually searched a list of classic English literature. also, for number 5 Spoiler: (highlight to read) you may need to try other words for porridge or donkey as realrebus suggested for number 2 trying to be helpful and vague

Damned if i can figure out 6! Got the rest, i think, although I won't know if they're right until I try to put them in. I studied 3 and 4 at school so they were quite obvious, and the film for number 5 was actually on when i was trying to solve it! | ||||

3, 4 and 6 jumped out at me but the others have me tearing my hair out. I'm trying hard not to look at the spoilers beacuse I know I will know them...

Spoiler: (highlight to read) No need to manipulate the words in the way you had to for 2. It really is a case of say what you sea.
