Sorry, but I'm not a fan of this puzzle card.
Spoiler: (highlight to read) The number plates are as good as red herrings, leading you into a fruitless search for city identifiers. Moreover if you take this approach, one of the plates is self contradictory.

Spoiler: (highlight to read) spent ages searhing for city identifiers only to find they didn't exist or didn't make sense.one city wasn't even listedas a major city in that country

I am at a complete loss with this card. Reading the posts above give me a hint for one and I can kinda see the link, but as for the others where to start?! Do the plates actually follow the patterns for the country in which the city is in (eg LL## LLL in GB)? | ||||

No, there's a simple way of solving this card: Spoiler: (highlight to read) Substitute the numbers for letters And you should get an answer for each. |
