I don't want to give it away to those who haven't solved this card,

Spoiler: (highlight to read)

if you turn it sideways, the lines represent something.

You can PM me for a hint

The amount of time this card took me is embarassing. But yes:

Spoiler: (highlight to read)

Turn the card on its side, and suddenly all should become clear. Once you see it, you can't un-see it, it's that kind of thing.

I'm with rennard on this one. i even used paint to isolate the lines from the rest of the card and all I'm seeing is..... lines on the screen/card.

I've done all the things I used to have to do to get those magic eye images to work, the ones where you had to let your eyes unfocus. Anyway I'm still getting bupkis.

Spoiler: (highlight to read)

the first letter or something maybe? please?

A slight hint

Spoiler: (highlight to read)

All of the letters are made up of straight horizontal and vertical lines, i.e. no curves and it makes a difference which side you turn it on

Even a tiny hint (please) as to which side. I know its a fifty fifty chance but it doesn't seem to matter - I can see diddly.

I'm the same. I thought I had the answer but it was wrong and now I can't "see" anything else.

Is it anything to do with the film?

Hope this helps you to see it clearer...

Spoiler: (highlight to read)

Try thinking of light and shade... like a red spot light!

I liked this one!

Thank you Angie! Though I don't think I share your appreciation

Ravenstorm

Spoiler: (highlight to read)

yes, your looking for the shape that would exist if a full light was shown on a raised surface.

Further to Angie's spoiler -

Spoiler: (highlight to read)

if the light was catching on the same edges it was shining on, the light is shining from the right.

Not sure if that will help, in either case but I finally (!!!!) solved this card thanks to Angie and that was how I approached getting the answer.
