oh no, that must have been so disappointing MD1500! It would have been a very expensive pack. Do you get to keep the bonus pack at least? And does it have a silver?

I do get to keep the bonus pack, but blue is the highest level card there.

My S2W2 solves

[UPDATED 23/12] Needs: (S1) Gold card 257. / (S2W2) 243 244.
Trading: (S2W2) 239. All Red-Black. / (S2W1) Hamleys set. Key. / (S1) 235 241.

Well my 3 boxes all arrived together (even though I ordered two more a day later). And I decided to try an experiment, the proof of the pudding you might say.

I carefully took out each pile of packs and laid them out in two columns from top to bottom. I then opened the top pack of either column. If didn't contain a black card, I opened the next pack down. This should be a black card pack. Then I opened the alternate packs in that column until I found the silver (Silver cards are only found in packs that would have otherwise had a black card in.) If you have a well ordered box (most of them are), the spacing between silver packs is every 5 black packs in a column. Sometimes the pattern broke down and I found a blue/purple card pack where there should have been a black, but on the whole it worked quite well. In my most efficient search for silvers I found all 4 silvers after opening only 15 packs.

Out of 3 boxes I have found 11 silvers and have 47 unopened packs, packs that if the game had been still up and running, and if I was an unscrupulous ebay seller, I could sell on in small quantities to unsuspecting mugs (like me). But as I said, I'm not jumping back on that soap box, I just wanted to prove it was possible.

I am now going to open all the black containing packs in the hope that the box that only had 3 silvers in actually contains another hiding away, or that the two boxes that contain 4 silvers actually might have a lucky 5th. Fingers crossed.

I got 2 boxes but only 7 silvers - where is my 8th silver dammit?

Silvers I have:
236 Misshapes, Mistakes, Misfits
237 Pentominoes
239 'They Have The Answer'
241 En Passant
243 You Spin Me Round
244 David and Goliath

My duplicate is 237 Pentominoes if anyone can swop for one I didn't get???

I have the missing one #238 So far so Good with a musical theme but no spares I am afraid. I also only got 7 silvers and was disappointed to get some duplicate cards (not silvers) even in the same packet. My second box only produced 3 new cards. The silvers I am missing are #234,236and 239.

Hi all,

Just a quick question for those who have the packs now (as I will have to wait a while for mine... ), how are they made up??

Is it like S1, with 6 cards only, or S2W1 with the 6 cards and a warm up card??

Not a sngle duplicate of warmup cards in my two boxes!

1 and a half boxes opened so far and 6 silvers.

5 that other people have mentioned plus:

234 Happy New Year (which is the one that slipped out a couple of times during W1)

So assuming there are only 10 silvers, that completes the list:

234 Happy New Year
236 Misshapes, Mistakes, Misfits
237 Pentominoes
238 So Far So Good
239 They Have The Answer
240 Illuminating
241 En Passant
242 The Raccoon's Gun Tax
243 You Spin Me Round
244 David and Goliath

I seem to be missing 1 black so far, but for completeness there are:

10 Red, 10 Orange, 12 Yellow, 12 Green, 12 Blue, 10 Purple, 10? Black and 10? Silver making up the 86 new cards that Jey promised

I'm so far behind!!! I just ordered a W1 and a W2 box - I'll get a second W2 box after payday (bonus month - hooray!).

They'll get to me by monday (I need to have them delivered to work), so I'll just have to sit on my hands till then!!

In the mean time I'm off to my loft to dig out my cards and wallet!

Finally finished my box now. I have basically the entire wave, minus one black and six silvers (got 4 in mine). Currently laid out on my living room floor. Might take a picture for good measure (then again I might not )

So I'm missing one black. I'll post in sloth007's new trades thread once I've worked out which one...

Anyone discovered any "special" cards in this wave?
EDIT: By special, I mean UV / sunlight / heat reactive, scratch and sniff, etc?

In addition to Sophiecat's "Silvers" post above,

If there are ten blacks in this wave, then the full list is as follows:

#202 Receda's Revenge
#204 Thief in the Night
#205 Morra
#206 Simple Maths
#207 Band of Travellers
#208 CRT
#209 A Wise Father
#210 Twinkle Twinkle
#211 Banter
#212 Lost in Time - The Wetlands

strangely, the only black Rotek is missing, is the one that I have 6 copies of. Do you think he'd like one?

Any one care to put up a whole wave card list? Now there's a project.

I think, depending upon the timing of the packing process, it may be unfortunately possible (though rare) to find a box that only has 3 silvers in it.

Why couldn't I have had the rare 5 silver box instead of the rare 3 silver box? *sobs*

I too had a rare 3 silver box - and to top it off one the ones I did get was a duplicate!!

While my 3 boxes were all boring old 4-silvers, the first two boxes had exactly the same 4 silvers, and the third further duplicated two of them

I must have been lucky to get all 10 silvers from 3 boxes, unlucky though to get a 3-silver box, so only 1 duplicate
