well - I have a link between them, but no idea who the next would be - the answer is a name (needs first and last names) so all the things I thought of don't fit with this...

I'd thought of that person earlier - but it wasn't correct...

Spoiler: (highlight to read) It's even closer than that, you probably have found the link, that as you go down the list, each person makes references to the others above, well who makes references to all of the people mentioned on the card. |

You're on the right track there psychobabe.... Spoiler: (highlight to read) i thought of me as the reader too then looked again and the answer was staring up at me. This one of those cards that, when you get the answer, you'll think 'd'oh!'. I seem to have quite a few of those moments

The answer is much simpler than you might expect. Unless I missed something the link between the names is a reasonably loose one. PM if you want a clearer hint. |

I sympathise Robspot. This one made me groan in annoyance when I worked out the answer.
Hint for those who haven't got it yet Spoiler: (highlight to read) you are looking for references. Each person referenced the ones listed ahead of them. So who is referencing them all? |
