No, I'm not talking about George Washington. Instead, I'm talking about the one year anniversary of the EndGame - the day one Andy Darley dug up the Cube and left a hole and a card behind for fellow Cube Hunters - on February the 2nd, 2007.

So how would you like to celebrate that anniversary ? Would you like to celebrate it at all ? Vote, post, share ideas or rants, bring it !

And just so you know, I do have an idea of how to celebrate it, and it's already in motion - but that'll be a surprise

Definitely worth celebrating. Although I have ticked the box saying 'don't have a clue how', I actually do know the best way to celebrate the finding of the cube (unfortunately out of my control)...

The release of S2W2 cards.

and better still the reopening of the ARG.

But what chance?

Oh, it needs celebrating alright. But my mind is dead from too much thinking about good ideas recently to come up with another one.

But I eargerly await your surprise, Book

I think we should celebrate it by reminding Mind Candy how much we love Perplexcity and eagerly await its return.

If we each sent a "cube" to Mind Candy's offices (much like the peanuts campaign for the TV Show "Jericho"), we might just remind them of how much we love Perplexcity.

Any cube will do (except an ice cube, alas) a die, a rubik's cube, origami, use your imagination - but let's send some cubes to MC and see if we get any response...

I agree we should celebrate it, I love goldberg's suggestion, they were certainly moved with all the paper cranes we sent so it might make an impression. I also agree with sloth, but as he says, that is unfortunately out of our hands

My suggestion was going to be a pilgrimag/picnic to the "hole" in Wakerley Great Wood.

Anyway, we should do something.

Hmmm. A trip to Wakerly is probably not doable for me, but I'd fully a move by people capable of making it to do so.

I also like the mailed cubes idea.

No ideas on my part, though.

1 Gold Card available for Trade, as well as many Blacks and Silvers (and other cards, including S2W2)! Still looking for...

Season 1: 235, 236, 239, 245, 250, 252-256
Season 2, Wave 1: 229, 231-233
Season 2, Wave 2: 236, 238-241, 243.

I'd love to go to Wakerley as well, but it's a little too far for me But the Cube suggestion is a very good one. We just need more people participating, otherwise that'll be...6 cubes total ? :p

I've posted the info from this thread on Unfiction, to try to stir up some interest in sending cubes from people over there.

I'll send as many as I can come up with for sure - with a little note asking for a return trip to PerplexCity soon.

Can I pre-book those tickets? I'll be happy to buy one-way tickets only. What are the immigration laws in PerplexCity? My Passport is valid until 2011 - so I'm ready!

I also run a store here - and have gotten a number of folks started - I'll get them involved in, too.

I'm up for sending a cube. Are we sending a standardised cube, or any old cube. Should it be the size of THE cube? And what date should it arrive at the offices of MC?

Also looking forward to what TB has in store.

Yes, sending a cube is a briliant idea. Although someone should send a sphere, just to be different.

The week of the 2nd of February would make sense, as this is when Andy found "the" Cube.

That'll be you then Rotek!
