Exciting news from Adrian Hon's blog:
http://mssv.net/2008/02/26/what-has-a-grin-and-six-tales/ Pengrin, a new ARG from Adrian and Dan Hon's company Six to Start, has just been announced! Interestingly, Eric Harshbarger is apparently working on it too, and the site references Alice, which seems to hint that it could be a continuation of the Alice is Lost concept. The site is: http://www.pengrin.co.uk/ Nothing much to do at the moment except enter your email, but it's interesting nonetheless. |

Ah yes, was going to post this up last night. Looks very interesting, I've been waiting to see what SixToStart were developing for a while.
Little tidbit: StS are working with the book publisher Penguin on the game, hence the title, but in what manner, I do not know... |

I was wondering if there was an octopus fiddling with that cat, but I decided not to mention that out loud.
"I'm getting tired of this, I vote the young lady tells us a story" when you mouseover the picture. Doesn't seem to go anywhere yet though. Curiouser and curiouser as they say. I think this may well be Alice Is Lost v2. |

Just to let you know, the first story is now up. It doesn't seem very ARG-like at the moment, but the story, innovatively told through Google Maps, is quite gripping nonetheless.
UPDATE: I've just discovered there's more to the site than just the story. Seems there is the genesis of an ARG there also. How could I have expected anything else? |
