EDIT -- lower prices!
Hi all, I've been thinking I'd like to sell the very rare cards in my collection, but I figured that I'd waited too long and there was no longer a market for them. But, as this post shows there are still several of you desparately trying to complete your collection. All of these are UNSCRATCHED unless otherwise noted! So, what do I mean by VERY rare? Try these on for size: Probably the single most rare card in existence, Season 2 #234. That's right, #234. This card appears to have been part of an early wave 2 printing trial run. Impossible? Check this post I made at UF. Several months ago I scratched the silver panel off in hopes of jumping to the top of the season 2 leaderboard, but the code was not accepted. It probably still isn't accepted, and might never be accepted unless season 2 is released. Even then it might be invalid, who knows! As far as I know this is a one-of-a-kind card -- I've never heard of anybody else who owns one! Asking price $200. ***EDIT - kie_yeo has purchased this card. Also, I received a PM from one other person who has this card. In case they're keeping their identity secret I'll let them reveal themself. The Gold Card. This one previously belonged to Dragonscales, I think he won it in a competition. It's number 063/333 and has 8 signatures on it. Asking price $125. ***EDIT - also purchased by kie_yeo. Season 1 Wave 1 - 3 Silvers $5 each: 226, 228, 230, 231, 232, 233, 234, 238, 240, 242, 244, 246, 247, 248, 249, and 251. Season 1 Wave 1 - 3 Blacks $1 each: 198, 200, 201, 208, 209, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215, 216, and 219 . Season 2 #232 Gel Together $20 PM me if you're interested and we'll work out shipping! This is kinda ironic cos half of me was thinking about putting my season 1 set up for sale and half of me wants to fully complete what i have.
I feel a communion with Happy New Year and i regret not getting my hands on it nearly a year ago. I think i made it clear what i would pay then. That offer still stands. Well the question on everybody's mind seems to be "how much?" I wish I had a great way to gauge fair market value, but unfortunately about all I have to reference are the amounts I paid for the cards originally. I'd like to recoup those costs so here's what I'm thinking at the moment (all in US Dollars).
For Season 2 #234 Happy New Year $200. That's how much I offered the seller if he would add a buy it now, but fortunately for me he was out of town and wasn't able to take me up on my offer before the auction ended. ***EDIT kie_yeo has first option on this card since I think his reply above basically constitutes an offer *** For Season 1 #257 The Gold Card $125. For the rest of the Season 1 silvers $70 each. I paid that for most of them. For Season 2 #232 Gel Together I think the usual price is around $20. I'd be happy with that. For the Season 1 Wave 4 blacks I was thinking $20 each since they are just about as hard to find as wave 4 silvers, but there is a completed auction on Ebay where 4 of them went for $11. I can't help but think the buyer got a steal, though. If I were to put these up on Ebay I think I'd use the above or a little higher as buy it now prices, with bidding starting somewhat lower, except for Happy New Year which I think I would just do as a plain buy it now auction. If you'd like to buy any of the cards at the prices mentioned above feel free to post a reply and/or send me a PM saying so. If more than one of you contact me I'll go with the first one I receive according to the date/time on the reply or message. We can work out shipping (I'll just charge actual shipping prices), but we need to discuss what you want to do for insurance. I'm kind of assuming Paypal for payment at the moment, let me know if you'd like to go another route. ***EDIT 2 - I'm open to personal checks, but I'd have to look into how that would work for non-US currencies ***! If you think I'm out of my gourd on some item(s) please let me know what you think a fair price would be. ***EDIT 3 - Is anyone interested in my other cards? I.e. wave 1 - 3 silvers and blacks. And if you're looking for anything in lower colors I'd be happy to throw them in if I've got them.*** |

Well returning home this morning my front door mat was looking slightly larger than ususal, and sure enough there was a huge box underneath it post stamped from the US!!! Much kudos to smartyman for packing the cards so well 
All i'll say about the Gold Card is ooooooooooooooo, i could add more words but they'd be sadly lacking the oooooooooooooo factor so i'll just say that. It was suggested to me that i should add 234 to the Misprints and Rarities list over on wiki so at some point over the weekend i intend to do that. All i'm lacking now is S2 228 - Neography, if anybody owns this and is willing to sell please pm me. Thanks

I know that, what I meant was I don't know how it got worn since I've been storing it since I opened it. I almost didn't check but then I thought I better check out the condition since I just received a non-mint card in the mail the other day for a different card game. So I know how it feels when someone conveniently forgets to mention that it's not mint. | ||||
