After guessing the obvious, and failing LOL, I showed this to my girlfriend and

thats what I thought, what your girlfriend thought, that is.
those patterns use a series of symbols to distinguish colors and thickness of lines used. but looking at it closer makes me wonder about the dots in the middle of lines. Those arent found very often |

I looked around online a bit, managed to find

back to the card. The legend in the lower left corner is confusing me. Doesn't seem to give an idea of how to create this, if it is what we think. |

Spoiler: (highlight to read) After looking at that card again, and specifically that key you mentioned, it just occurred to me that the symbols match the 4 buttons on a Playstation controller. I'm SURE that's a coincidence but I thought as it's 1:45am I'd get away with mentioning it |

I've found something.
Spoiler: (highlight to read) If you hold the card, if the light is hitting it properly, I'm seeing lines through certain symbols. Easiest to point out are the first two rows of circles, specifically the second row in the upper left, and the first row on the upper right. See the unfiction thread for more info. |
