I've not seen a puzzle like this before. In my eagerness to solve it i've locked myself out and then realised which ones i've missed!
Really enjoyed this one. |

Well, i thought i'd cracked it. Apparently not!
My workings - Spoiler: (highlight to read) Looking at the puzzle logically i can see 5 different types of square. The 'normal' ones, of which i can count 63 (also stated in the question).
Help please! |

I know that I am being dense - but, will somebody please help me a teensy bit...
Having repeatedly entered the wrong answer for this card, Spoiler: (highlight to read) I thought that a square was square i'm obviously missing how Spoiler: (highlight to read) a 2 x 3 or a 3 X 4, etc. is a square I'm sure it has something to do with the Spoiler: (highlight to read) "at any angle" Thanks in advance!!! |

Spoiler: (highlight to read) i think they are referring to gradients, not dimensions. As in a square which has a side which spans 3 horizontally and 1 vertically, or there might be some that span 2 horizontally and 3 vertically etc.

We're lost on this one.
Spoiler: (highlight to read) What does 3x1 or 3x2 mean? Should a square not be 3x3? I dont see how this add's up! |

Spoiler: (highlight to read) 1 2 3 4 5
Imagine the square has vertices at 2, ^, 5, (. That's what i call a 3x1, i.e 3x3 but 1 step out. There's probably a technical term for it, but i don't know it so made up my own jargon
