Tally : Can I add here that I have made some genuine and abiding friendships through the game, and I know I am not alone in that? I don't know if that's peculiar to PerplexCity, but it is special nonetheless.
Here, here! I think i have made potentially life-long friends through this game . The pxc community was really something very special

I just thought I'd write a few lines:
Perplex City has been... well how can you describe it? I've made lifelong friends (you know who you are!) had the most explosive arguments. Heck, we've led revolutions Perplexorumers!! 
It's had me shepherding people in the middle of London, stuffing myself in a phonebox with numerous others, phoning up imaginary lift technicians, moderating hundreds of eager irc'ers. Sock puppets will never have the same meaning again! Everytime the Gherkin appears on the telly I am immediately reminded of an awesome party (and the shennanigans in the travellodge before and after!) BFC, oh yes, will never die, for I will always have that memory of that fateful night in #syzygy. It's a certain well respected member of our community shouting profanities in the middle of a London pub. It's Heathrow airport, running late. It's squeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! It's mussels (those were the best musssels I've ever had and I'm yet to find any better) Donkeypoppers hehe, you all rock! It's meeting strange people in deserted Liverpool alleyways, it's sausages and drunken wenches. Cocktails, there was alot of them along the way, my first introduction to guitar hero, and indirectly, the reason why I own a nintendo DS. It's the tube, getting on trains and stuffing four very tired people into my tiny Ka. PxC has affected my life more than anything to date, I could ramble for ages aout everything, but all I really want to say is "THANK YOU" |
