| I dont know if this has happened before, but my solved cards list is displaying two instances of the same card as solved, probably as a result of a 'Internal Server Error'. As their website support email no longer exists, i guess it's going to stay that way but I thought it was amusing enough to post nonetheless, ^^ | ||

I've got a lot of Season 1 and 2 cards to trade, although shamefully no silvers to trade. Im posting a full list, in the unlikely case that anyone needs any of these cards.

Another interesting idea for a puzzle card system in general, may be to create an iPhone/iPad application for it. It could be as simple as just displaying the cards in structures so people can view them on the go (PXC cards look fantastic on the iPad btw), but could go as deep as providing card packs for peoples accounts and levels of interactivity on the cards, such as animation and, hidden items that could reveal further card details. You could even go as far as card trading on a digital level when receiving duplicates in card packs and updating the application to reveal new features as a series progresses.
A database application could be simple enough, as long as the card updating is done on the application itself, but although these other potential ideas would need a shared website/application database and features, it could really expand the possibilities of puzzles and puzzle solving. I may be able to do programming for the application, but it would depend on the demand for this and whether it's even related to PXC at all because if this is something that people would like to look into, it would be a big undertaking and something Mind Candy might not be happy with. Plus it would give some creative freedom and direction into how the project could be handled as a whole. Something like this could attract a whole new audience that may never have been interested with such things before. Just throwing some ideas out there, I have some more ideas but I wouldn't want to discuss them here. |

Thanks for the offer pooleja, although I think we should run with the blog for a while before making a website as the demand currently isn't there.
Thanks also sloth for looking into that, it would be great to have some extra help with designing as Chaos is currently the only one with some free time to do it. All the individual card scores are in the middle of being posted so you can see how many solves it has and who solved it first again. |

The last blog post and our lack of communication probably sent the wrong message that the project was already over before it had even truly started. We are VERY sorry for that and we are back in working with Perplex Puzzles, starting with converting the rest of the puzzles. We will still be able to design too, but not in the volume we did beforehand unless a designer can help us out with our commercial project currently in the works.

I understand, me and Chaos knew there would be a point where we wouldn't be able to make anymore puzzles with the requests and we became to feel half-hearted with all of it. We ironically like PXC that we didn't want to do things in such a way. We still want to continue but we currently just need more good, dedicated designers to help out. We are now in the middle of converting cards to the format so the blog will be updated soon.
