Try to think of a short route into the pit, and then try to manufacture a way of getting your blue marble to the start point of that route.

Marbles are ROUND. If one marble is held immobile and another is heading straight for it, the other will roll around the first to the left or to the right (depending on the precise positions of the centres of the marbles, and/or which way your hand twitches or the breeze blows on each particular play of the game).

Sorry, but that "solution" doesn't work. After the 7th move, the marble is close to the top-left corner. Have you tried using Twixwolf's simulator?
